Job Description:

We are working with a fantastic tech organisation in Manchester, and we are looking for an experienced Technical Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and advice to our clients.

The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to think outside of the box and stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance to our clients projects 
• Develop technical solutions for clients projects 
• Analyse customer requirements
• Provide advice and guidance on technical issues
• Identify and resolve technical issues
• Develop technical documentation

Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive experience as a Technical Consultant
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with hardware, software, and networking
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Technical Requirements

•             VMware vSphere and ESXi 

•             Storage 

•             Cisco ASA, Cisco Meraki, Watchguard and Fortinet

•             Switching / Routing – Cisco, Dell, HP and Cisco Meraki 

•             Veeam 

•             Microsoft Server 

Desirable additional skills

•             Experience of Azure IaaS

•             VMware Horizon

•             Microsoft 365 SaaS

•             Linux
