Accounts Payable Administrator

We are currently looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join an organisation in Leighton Buzzard. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all accounts payable processes and ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The main duties and responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Administrator include:

• Processing invoices, credit notes and statements in a timely manner
• Maintaining accurate accounts payable records
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Liaising with suppliers and resolving queries
• Preparing payment runs and liaising with the bank
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies
• Maintaining the accounts payable system

The ideal candidate will have the following technical skills and experience:

• Proven experience of working in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles
• High attention to detail
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Sage and Dynamics 365 (beneficial) 
• Excellent communication skills
