IT Support Engineer 

Linux & Windows or only Linux experience needed! 

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer with solid experience working with opensource technologies to support out client for a 3-month project. You will be helping with a migration project and BAU tasks. 

Technical Skills: 

• Solid IT Support / Systems server experience, ideally from a mixed Windows & Linux physical and virtual environment
• Knowledge of Centos7, Red hat, Rocky Linux, NIS, Sun Grid Engine 
• Knowledge of Linux Command line, bash 
• Migrating Desktops and Workstations from Centos7 to Rocky Linux 8/9 or Debian/Ubuntu
• Migrating from NIS to Windows AD or LDAP
• Knowledge of Networking (HP, Cisco)
• Windows AD

The role is based in Cambridge and there will be some onsite work due to the nature of the role.
