IT Systems Administrator

Milton Keynes – up to £35k

We are looking to recruit an IT systems administrator for one of the fastest growing IT solution and services providers in the UK.

Used to working as part of a team you will provide support and development of the companies internal IT infrastructure as well as that of its clients.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in a technical computing subject or alternative qualification.

Ideally have a higher-level Microsoft certification in Windows Server or cloud-based applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide external customers with best in class, high quality and efficient customer service and support
• Be responsible for the maintenance and development of IT systems from networking to server administration, backup and disaster recovery.
• Working with and managing third party supplier and project delivery-based relationships
• Used to working in a service desk environment, allocating and prioritising workloads via a ticket-based logging system
• Provide various first to third line based support.
• Project based implementation work, working with customers on scoping their technical projects.

Technical Skills

• Good understanding of cloud deployed applications
• Windows server
• Hyper-V
• Windows 10
• Office 365
• Azure
• Sharepoint; including machine builds and imaging tools and processes
• TCP/IP/VOIP networking technologies and in-depth network hardware understanding
• Powershell, SQL and database management
