Research Engineer
Bristol – £55,000
We are working with an impressive tech organisation based in Bristol looking for 2 Research Engineers to help pioneer their new technical innovation! You will be collaborating with the R&D team to develop concepts, designs, and prototype solutions for new products.
You should be passionate about engineering and mechanics and a background in civil engineering is helpful. You will be developing a new product offering from prototype, monitoring systems through to manufacture, installation, data capture and analysis, and further evolution such that they meet the customer needs. You will be guided and supported in this process.
Key responsibilities
- Verifying prototypes and new products
- Analysing results to look at finding technical solutions
- Testing products
- Understanding customer needs
- Collaborating with the stakeholders of the projects
Experience of these is beneficial:
- Cameras, optics, and lighting
- Embedded computer systems
- Control systems
- Metrology
- Computer Vision and image processing
- Condition monitoring for civil applications
