HR Business Partner

Leighton Buzzard –  £50,000

Maternity Cover – 12 Months fixed term 

We are recruiting for a HR Business Partner to join a company based in Leighton Buzzard. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join an established team and lead on HR initiatives in the business.

The key responsibilities of the role:

• Provide strategic HR advice to the business and ensure alignment with the overall business objectives
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
• Develop and maintain a talent management system, including performance management and succession planning
• Manage employee relations issues, e.g. disciplinary, grievances, etc.
• Lead on recruitment activities, including job adverts, interviewing, and onboarding
• Liaise with external advisors, such as legal and employment law consultants, on matters relating to HR
• Manage the payroll process
• Monitor HR trends and best practice

The ideal candidate will have:
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an HR role
• Proven experience in a financial services environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of UK employment law and best practice
• Good organisational and time management skills
• A CIPD qualification or equivalent
