Job Title: SHEQ Advisor 
Location: Denbigh
Salary: £40000

We are currently recruiting for a SHEQ Advisor to join our client’s company based in Denbigh. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all safety, health, environmental and quality requirements are met in accordance with the client’s policies and procedures.

The SHEQ Advisor will be responsible for:

• Carrying out risk assessments and developing and implementing safety management systems
• Monitoring and auditing safety, health, environmental and quality systems
• Investigating incidents and accidents and ensuring they are reported and documented
• Identifying and evaluating potential hazards and risks
• Developing and delivering SHEQ awareness training
• Providing advice and guidance to staff on SHEQ related matters
• Working with the SHEQ Manager to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation
• Preparing and reviewing SHEQ reports

The ideal candidate will have:
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a SHEQ role, preferably in the telecommunications industry
• A proven track record of developing and implementing safety management systems
• Excellent knowledge of relevant safety, health, environmental and quality regulations
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
